the motor obviously is going round as the wipers go back and forth the only thing that controls how far the travel is the motor arm to wiper driven arm ratio (the is no play so it is not due to worn parts) as to the motor being original , who knows i assume it has been replaced with one that has the...

wiper motor drive arm ?
can anyone tell me the length of the wiper motor drive arm from the center drive spindle to where it attaches to the rod that runs the wiper arms ? i think mine is short as the sweep of the wipers is very short
