When your fuel pump is fitted, check the fuel pressure figure as mine was 3.8 psi at the filter (ignition only) and too high for the triple carburettor recommended pressure of 2psi. - Fuel Tank
- New Banjo Bolts [4] and Seals [8]
- Sender Gauge
- Fuel Filter [4]
- Fuel Hose 3-4mm Internal [check Tank Outlets] 2 Metres

Thank you, both, am hoping to get my E Type back on the Road for the Summer.. :fingerscrossed: Whereabouts are you based? I am in the Sevenoaks area, so plenty of country roads at my disposal.. 8-) I have had a few Porsche, classic and modern, in the past so the Jaguar marque is all a bit new to me..!

..have you asked SNG Barratt and Burlen (sucarb.co.uk) what they advise? Remember a member of the JEC or JDC gets a discount from SNGB which easily pays for the cost of membership with the savings made. Hi, I have a failed Fuel Pump on my 69 Series II 2+2, which looked to be a new unit a few years ago, but having sat for some time has [I'm guessing] gummed up with Old Fuel..
