Re: New Reproduction Parts for E-Type's

I saw this on one an E Type forum some time ago, as a modification to keep the alternator cooler.

Re: New Reproduction Parts for E-Type's

Without wanting to look too stupid, does this look like the original alternator on an S1 car?

So the 'ultimate' system will use cast manifolds, standard 1.75" stainless steel down pipes and straight through silencers mated to mild steel resonators.
Thank you David! Brilliant reply. I will take your advice and go with exactly as you suggest.

Thanks to everyone for the sage advice and humor! I suppose the next step will be to look behind the dash and see what colour is back there, as all the numbers match up perfectly. I must say it is a tough decision on which way to go on the colour. I am repainting from bare metal anyway so cost is no...

Do Jaguar Heritage make mistakes?

Dear all, i am a newbie to this site and also to e type restoration, so please forgive the stupid questions i am likely to ask. To that end this is possibly the first. Original headlining for removable hard top??

Hi all, i am a newbie so please forgive me if i ask some very stupid questions in the next few weeks. I have just bought a 1965 OTS in near original condition, and am sorting out a few parts that are lacking. The first was to buy a hard top. The one i bought is an original one from a series 1, in ra...
