Re: Convertible roof - Series II OTS
Thank you Tom for the information and the link to the unrestored car, The top frames for the Series I, II and III OTS cars are all the same. The pictures on the unrestored car do show that the rear bow is covered by the strap. The wind vibration piece is also shown helping me a great deal even thoug...

Air cleaner base and trumpets connection to carburetors
There are four holes on each of the three SU carburetors on my Series II OTS. The bottom two holes take the hex screws, lock washers and nuts to connect the air cleaner's base and trumpets part to the carburetors. What, if anything, goes into the other two holes indicated with red arrows on my photo...

Re: Turn signal and horn push assembly - small parts
Finally a mechanic put my turn signal switch together. He said that there are small slots in the part I've identified as "F" where the two prongs of each of the three staple-looking parts fit into it. Then the three springs are added under the appropriate staple as the part attached to the wire loom...

Re: series 2 e type screen washer access
The hard part is attaching the plastic tubing to the right hand washer jet (on a left hand drive car) followed by screwing the jet to the wing nut that the tubing runs through. First run the tubing through the wing nut, then attach the tubing to the jet. Then get an 8 and a 10 year old with small ha...

Re: Turn signal and horn push assembly - small parts
I email thanked Geoff immediately after he posted his reply, noting that his information did not relate to my Series II trafficator. I've researched this forum as well as others. Additionally, I contacted sellers of authentic Jaguar mechanic manuals, but no-one has an exploded view of my assembly. I...

They are: A - two screws that go into what in I believe are two square slightly curved washers. B - two small springs C - one larger spring...
