Re: Wheels update

Look at the e-types racing at Goodwood etc, they don’t run big wheels rims and low profile tyres and these vehicles are stiff as a board. Practicality over vanity I guess and just my opinion. A similar thing with all road cars vs the racing version. Look at the racing Porsches all have smaller diam...

Re: Instrument Light Brightness Switch

I got to thinking about your question regarding a dimmer switch. There is actually another dimmer on Series III's (may be also on earlier series, just not that familiar with them). Re: Fuel gauge not registering properly

I am working through a similar issue. In my new to me XKE, the fuel gauge never registered more than 3/4 full and the low level light would come on with 3-4 gallons left in the tank (as indicated that a fill would take16-17 gallons). Instrument Light Brightness Switch

My new to me 1971 2+2 came to me a few months the ago. While most of the car was in great shape, it was running very rich. My local Jaguar guru was able to get that resolved with minimal fuss. He reported no issues of concern to me. Another minor issue was that the toggle switch that controlled the ...

Re: Sorry fellas, more help needed

I have to agree with the earth cable check. For me it was the one down by the regulator itself. I think in the end I fitted a nut and screw/bolt, after cleaning up the metal behind it, then making sure there was a good earth, then painting over the head of the screw/bolt. This left the end of the (...
