Is there a possibility that the Engine number is "related" to the Chassis number? I have the Engine number 7E15097-9 and have read that the engine numbers and chassis numbers could be closely related, therefore wondering if my Chassis number could be 1E15097? The N number we have is in the spot you mentioned. We have the body, engine and gearbox number which Jaguar have confirmed are correct, but we are just missing the VIN number. We do not have the ID Plate. Is there anywhere we can look with a listing of these numbers to find out what it should be?
