I'm pretty sure that the ones they supplied earlier this year with the kit were mintex. I also use mintex road pads on my Lotus Elise - they are pretty good.

Have you tried calling Zeus - they are usually very helpful?

I'm struggling to remember which pads were supplied with my kit...

Quick update - managed to fit the spring form the non 2+2 cars. Needed a bit of bending to make it fit, but the light now comes on-off more reliably. Success!

Yes - I did think of that! Brake reservoirs and sensors are fine. If I disconnect the handbrake switch, the light remains off.

Thanks. Adjustment certainly helps and when the car is static the switch works fine. When moving on the road, the light is still coming on and off at will. I guess engine/gearbox/road vibrations are activating it as there is some movement in the handbrake lever and the contact point is quite small. ...

I can perhaps 3D print something. Will wait for the new switch and take it from there.

So looking at the diagram, the 2+2 handbrake doesn't have the contact spring for the switch? I've ordered a new switch, but am not sure that the intact area will be enough to make it reliable...

I've been getting annoyed with the brake light intermittently flashing on/off on the dash of my S1 2+2. I have traced it back to the handbrake switch. Does seem that the plastic mounting plate is too weak for the motor design.

Martin Robey great as always and sent another one straight out. They'll send the broken one back to the supplier.

@david.coan - which size was the Cosmos cover that you ordered? The e-type is quite long (I have a 2+2) so am not sure whether to go for M or XL...

Followed your guide and the mirrors are fitted and going nowhere now. My driver's side was quite tight so no rubber inside to avoid the window hitting the bracket. I also resorted to use of JB-weld for the nuts as I don't have access to a welder - seems pretty solid!

My 1966 2+2 currently has no mirrors and I'd like to add some. Have settled on the Fosseway clip-on ones.

I have searched previous threads, and there seems to be a consensus that convex glass is best for the passenger side. For the driver's side, am I best going for convex or flat?

Another vote for Tudor wheels - Richard did my original E-type wheels and they look great. Good value too.

The new screws from MR do have a point at the end already which helps a bit...
