Hi Jamie, that's interesting about the colour as I was told it didn't make a difference. My S3 is white and I'm going to paint it a dark silver (forgotten the actual Jaguar reference name)...that has me thinking if I should do it the original white colour!

Looks like you have a pretty straight body under the paint...are you keeping it red?

Didn't get a chance for a photo of the car under the tarp, but the answer is a pretty rotten early Series 1 (flat floor) FHC.

Thanks for the tip, it will come in useful as I rebuild my V12...do you have any other useful improvements/modifications for the V12 car?
