Looks to be all lovely and original to me.

The only way to get these to stay in place is to stick them in. I used black sikaflex adhesive sealant. You will have to use clamps to hold it in place on the corners. It's a bit messy but you can clean up after its in place.

You can look up into the bell housing through the hole in the bottom and take a photo of the release bearing to see if it is intact. I have never heard of one breaking up but they can wear out verry fast if not adjusted properly and are dragging.

Totally agree with Steve in above comment just drain the oil and don't risk having an accident.

Never heard of it and never tried it but i think all of these types of products are snake oil.

Most OTS boots seem to have a whiff of petrol in them in my experience with old or new tanks.

As above, fit a wet gauge and be done with it. All the senders are unreliable.

Never heard of or seen these. I stopped mine rattling by using some small pieces of rubber tube to bridge the gap so you can close the latch on them when the hood is down . Works fine.

Wellseal every time, far superior product. Clean metal surfaces with brake cleaner then apply a thin coat to all 4 surfaces and leave for 15-30 mins before assembly.

Hi Mikael, i fitted valve stem seals to my 3.8 when it was re-built on the inlet side only,.The new valve guides i fitted had the groove in the top so they can be fitted easily. Well worth doing while you have the engine apart.
I also fitted a tappet bucket hold down kit on the exhaust side.
