Cooling hose replacement

Advice please. Some of the cooling and heater hoses on my S3 are bulging and I’m thinking of replacing them all before they fail. Are the more expensive silicone hoses worth it? Any recommendations?

Out of interest, the clock has been reinstalled in the car for a few days now and the accuracy is indeed around 30 seconds per day.

Adjusting accuracy on Kienzle clock

Thought I’d have a go adjusting the accuracy of the original Kienzle clock on my S3. So I bought a £10 timegrapher from AliExpress and downloaded the free PC software TG 0.8.0. Decided to refurbish the fresh air vents on my series 3.
