update..... got the E back home today from fabricator who made up the drain-ducts and placed them(4 each side) to marry up with drain holes in doors. can someone please explain to this novice,why when i jacked up the rear near-side of my 65 series 1 , i had some play(which i thought may be bearing but both rears had it so dismissed) and could not rotate wheel without getting massive resistance as if in it was in gear. some sort of diff lock, LSD?...

i have a 65 series 1 which was a feature(well it was in there) in the movie, "Shaker Run" with Leif Garrett!! The E and NZ scenery were the highlights . This car is now in Oz with me... maybe this can be added to your knowledge bank.... cheers
