Torsion Bars

Hi, can anybody please give me some advice?!? I came to move my car when I noticed it was almost touching the ground. Immediately I realised torsion bar had snapped clean in half : / I've been quoted ?324+vat is this reasonable? Also are they easy to change etc?

Cheers Ian

I have sourced one off eBay, I have used the guy in the past and has always sold me decent parts.

I was also wondering, I have a rotor arm that I bought for my V12 SERIES 3 XJ. However, this is blue but looks identical to the one I've taken off. Would this do do you think??

V12 rotor arm

I posted on here a few month back about my car running fine when cold but back fires and cuts out after about 15 mins. A forum member said there's a good chance it's shit blocking the filter in the fuel tank, however this isn't the case. I have recently changed the coil and the amplifier but e car i...

Oh and not forgetting the sound. The only downside is that it's automatic, not as fun as a manual.

I Like the S1/1.5/2 but I don't think you can beat the ride of the V12. I love the flared arches and the wider wheels. I know the S3's arent as sought after than the others but for me it's the one to have....Great engine, looks the part, great ride and still able to keep up with modern day traffic : )

Hi, I have stripped the carbs down today and rebuilt them but this hasn't stopped the problem. It only does it when the car isn't on choke? Do you think it's still Sh1t in the tank?

This does make sense as it only happened when i put fuel in the car, although it wasn't left empty over winter there was fuel inside the tank but it wasn't full. Would this cause the car to cut out? just what i needed....why is nothing straight forward with E-Types : /
