colour choice

is colour choice critical for resale? I'll be painting over the summer, a 69 series II fhc. intended to go white, maybe old english white, but not a fan of old english, a bit too creamy. i prefer a sharper white, but will a non jag colour take from the value of the car?

spoked wheels

What should I fit on my series II fhc, debating over sizes and fitments of spoked wheels, like something a little wider than standard to fill the cavernous arches....without remortgaging the house!

Chris, I'm no electronics expert but the coil/winding is scorched and the wiring from the plug into the tacho is scorched back to , but no farther than the plug.

The winding in my series II tacho is fried, is there anyone out there that repairs these? or what is the best alternative?

Correct Engine for S2

Hi,

I've just bought an E-Type, its been in a shed for near 20years, bodywork is excellent (owner has been working away at it over the years)
The original engine is missing but he has a 4.2 from an XJ...I'm new to e types so what should i look out for and how acceptable is it to fit this one in?
