I have seen them before on ebay but I will settle for a size number and not worry about the nipple then I can buy similar in stainless slotted

I have a 63 FHC and my assumption is the screws that hold the lenses for front side markers and rear tail lens should be slotted.
can someone tell me the size of the screw

I rec'd a dozen new nuts and cages both made of steel from Martin Robey for a very reasonable price and are now welded in place below headlamp surrounds .

were the seals you bought and used the exact same profile as the ones you took off or did you get something smaller to ensure a better fit??

Use a product that does not contain silicone . I live in Toronto and I buy lexol from eshine.ca

I too am in the throws of a resto and would like to know who provides the best door and bonnet rubbers ?

can someone tell me where to buy the cage nut and its cage for 3.8 headlamp surround screw. I have a few cages broken off and SNG just sold me nuts for 4.2 screws ( different thread ) and cages made of aluminum which cannot be welded under the STEEL bonnet ?? any help to source would be appreciated ...

very good question I will be facing this shortly as well .
Can anyone on here after all these years say with certainty how this detail left the factory.

currently my car a 63 FHC is just finishing receiving a bare metal respray and painter cannot seem to figure out the reinstall chrome around front window and rear hatch.
Any suggestions e type gods?
