Hi for some reason my left hand cooling fan has stopped working , ( The right hand one is fine )
is this a motor problem or perhaps the relay needs replacing ? i have checked all the wiring and connections and all seems fine .

The 4TR was replaced 2 years ago , i keep a record of everything done or replaced on the car. Check the fuse holder as well as the fuse , mine had melted making it a bad connection and causing the same

Yep have had same problem , mine turned out to be the fuse holder itself not the fuse ( change both )

Heater / windscreen interior fan stopped working
As the title says my interior fan has suddenly stopped working.
I have noticed that when I hit the switch the wires that connect to the fan in the engine bay get very hot.
Is this the fan motor burnt out or another problem like fuse or maybe the switch itself ?

Ross , I got round it by simply fitting a correct size rubber grommet from Halfords

yep its the little rubber bush at the end of the throttle linkage.
Mine had perished causing the linkage to drop and squeak when you put your foot down.

Thanks Chris no not really a major leak just a small amount of oil on the drip tray once in a while.
I tend to keep an eye on it and top up when required.
