If you can share the chassis number - we will tell you what you have
It is 890317 - Dr. Haddock's book on E Type restoration says it was made around April of 1964. It specifically mentions 890317/8.

Here is my first question Chris. What is the /8 at the end of the chassis number?

the chassis number makes the car a late Series 1 FHC (1964).
