my bad, the new one I bought was not an electronic but original type. Took it apart yesterday and with some lubrication it's working again:) What happened with the battery/charging and the electronic one this spring is still a mystery...

Tks for all the comments, don't missunderstand me I'm very proud of my 2+2 but I personally think that the series 1 FHC is the most beautiful of all the different beautiful e-type models.

When looking in the forums it looks like it's most commonly replaced with Dana parts - maybe that's just in the US. ...
