The 2013 Classic Car price guide from Octane show 2+2 prices at ?60K for excellent and ?40K for good cars (up 100 % from the 2011 guide). So clearly 2+2 prices have been on the rise. Makes me happy as I have just acquired an excellent restored 2+2 a the lower end of this range :D

Hi I have just bought a S1 2+2 (1966) -the car is restored and runs very well, :) but the revcounter is faulty :( It moves to about 2000 - to 2500 rpm, but not any higher even when I rev the engine. Then it will stick there. When returning to idle when the glass is tapped it will fall to about 1000 ...
