shell rotella diesel oil
I was thinking of using shell rotella oil for diesel motors. I friend said this would be a very bad idea. I thought the issue was this oil will ruin a catalyt converter but other wise was fine. Will I be OK with using Shell Rotella?

Behind the front tire is an oval pin and in front of the rear wheel is a threaded stud. I will have to look for the correct jack point in the middle. Looks like I have to find so...

I would post a photo but I do not know how to resize a photo to make it small enough. The Jag is a convertible. I have the original manual and a aftermarket repair manual. They are older and the oil recommendations are dated. Would the rear end additive be the same as you additive used by GM in for ...

66 Jag XKE - maintenance questions
Just took ownership of the 66 Jag and my uncle had a dealer do the maintenance. I like to do my own and have some questions. 1) Have a 2 post lift, what should I use as lift points. Found the jacket points but they are pins and would not be stable. Should I drill a hole in wood to go around pins and...

1966 Jag XKE Convertiaable
I am a new owner of a 66 Jag XKE. It is a gift from my Uncle who purchased the car new in April 1966. The Jag was my uncle's daily driver for 20 years but has been rarely driven in the past five. The car has been repainted once as has the interior. In 2006 the Jag had many mechanical repairs. The Ja...
