Can someone tell me if all Series 2s have a gigarette lighter point as I will need one to use my Tom Tom GPS unit to find my way back from a possible Series 2 purchase about 400 kms west of Brisbane!

Not yet owning an E Type I have been reading all about the issues of ongoing maintenance. A publication by Jonathan Wood advises that the clutch will require to be replaced every 30000 miles or 48279 kms! involving the engine/gearbox unit to be removed to replace it. This seems to me to be excessive...
