Brake master cyclinder

I am looking for a brake master cyclinder for my S1 after discovering a leak and some ruined paint work. I was told after purchasing the car early last year that new seals were fitted so it looks like the bore may be scored or is it worth replacing the seals in case the previous owner may have been ...

S1 Ammeter

Had to be relayed home after the engine died. On investigation I discovered that the ammeter had gone open circuit (hence the slight burning spell earlier) and cut off the volts to the regulator so everything went dead. I am having trouble finding the right ammeter with a black bezel, and marked C (...

tyres & decals

I noticed that the tyres on my 3.8 S1 are 11 years old and although there is no sign of wear or cracks I think it may be best to replace them but what with, a V grade or H grade and what make without spending a fortune. Any ideas would be most welcome. I also am looking for decals for the engine bay...

Speedo Drive

The speedo on my S1 has packed up and on investigation it seems to be at the gearbox end which seems dificult to get to and would mean removing the upholstry around the tunnel. Has any one had a simular problem with the angled speedo gearbox entry. I have read about horendous problems inside the gea...

Agreed valuations

I am about to take possesion of a 65 3.8 roadster after a nut and bolt rebuild. If I take out an agreed valuation insurance how do I know that in the event of an accident the company will honor the valuation. Do any members recomend a company or have experienced a claim.
