The 'E' Type Forum

My 1967 automatic 2+2 S1 has gone through a comprehensive rebuild.
The brakes are the original Dunlops and when applied I feel the brake pedal kicking back, but otherwise braking action is normal although a bit hard.
I have taken apart the system twice but it is still the same.
Any thoughts??
