Re: Help with paint codes please

:yeahthat:
Even if you had the right code, the paint on your car will have faded over time so the new paint wouldn't match. Get a decent paintshop to do a match.

Re: Oil leak

Is it the cylinder head to block? Wouldn't have thought you'd get oil from there - is it the cam cover bolts you're looking at?

Re: DIFF. better 3,07 or 2,88 for 2+2?

Michelin XVS, 3.07 in 4th gear: https://i.postimg.cc/HWqDVGL7/Image-23.jpg David, this gives c. 25mph per 1000 revs, about what my handbook says. What always makes me think is that therefore, to achieve 150mph, the car had to be doing 6000 revs, the very end of the red band in top gear on my series...

Re: DIFF. better 3,07 or 2,88 for 2+2?

In the original handbook for my S2 2+2, 150 would be just over 6000 rpm!

Re: DIFF. better 3,07 or 2,88 for 2+2?

Put in the 288 ring gear and Ez steering and it will feel Like a early 1990s xjs Ahhhhhh so quite so smooth Gtjoey1314 If I wanted a car that felt like a 1990's car, I wouldn't have bought a 1969 E Type. And if you want all the other bits you list on an E Type, you might as well buy a kit car for h...
