I appreciate your feedback & no matter how many pics you show me of mx5 seats i couldn't do that to a beautiful car. you cant polish a turd you are right though, that would be a lot of modification. Not sure where your base is coming from but you need a sub woofer no matter where you put the mid ran...

Hi, maybe I forgot to say I have a focal amp running the system as well, so a sub is all I need.
not sure you would get the base range from 2 or 4 mid range speakers & tweeter's

Hi & thanks for the below. Ive just sent £££££ on restoring the series 2 OTS, so will not be putting MX5 seats in it the 6.5 Morel coax speaker are spot on & almost as good as my monitor audio I have in the lounge at home. Hi all, hope you can help. Ive just restored a series 2 OTS. Ive purchased a radio from https://www.classiccarstereo.co.uk. Seat belt removal
Finally got my 1970 OTS. Now the prject starts of stripping it down. Does anyone have any ideas how to remove the seat belts, mainly the connection to the floor pans

I'm looking to strip my e-type back to the shall ready for treating and painting. I've noticed on other people pictures, people have built a frame with wheels to transport the body. Does anyone have designs for this & the right wood to use

Removing Engine & Gear box from series 2 1970 e-type
Hi
Hope someone can help. I want to remove the engine & gearbox from my e-type. I've got a 2 tone hoist but I could only find a 680kg Load Leveller to help angle both parts out. Will this hold the weight of both Gearbox & Engine?
