More likely the hub is worn, splines are to long and fine to allow play.

Good Day...

Well the E type went for it's MOT today, although a initial problem with wiper washers, and high beam. It PASSED yehh. Although sadly means it'll go to it's new owner soon! I've become a bit attached now, blood sweat and tears in it. I'll post some photo's soon 8)

Funny this as my car is being resprayed at the mo, and we had to remove these, like you said slightly tight access! thankfully the windscreen was out. So we did get them out. They will be put in first!

centre console

Im trimming my car at present and would like to know whether the piping that goes round the console on the edge is standard or do people leave it out, It doesn't make any difference to me but would like it to be the 'norm'

Car is FHC series 1.5 if that makes any difference.

Hi Simon,

A bit of a trek but they are good,http://www.polyfacto.co.uk/. I used to work for them many years ago. If the webasto is fitted properly there is no reason why it should leak, that is generally why they leak, cause of bad fitment.

yes pretty happy no major rot,(the paint was blistered all over) and I will return it to red as that is what is on the heritage certificate. Would of liked it black but was told it'll devalue it being an unoriginal colour
