Everything on the Forum seems to be about restorations with the windscreen out. I am interested to find out about removing the old foam from the roof of a car that is fully trimmed with all windows and doors fitted., and then fitting the new lining.

That's what I said.

I have fitted a CCS Vintage 100 DAB spindle mount radio to my series 2.
Looks original with 5 push buttons and two knobs. Reception is excellent and it has an input for additional input.

I would recommend replacing all the cylinder head studs. They pass through the water jacket and can corrode and break.

I agree with JJC. The wood rim wheel is not comfortable on long journeys. I have replaced mine with a leather covered 15inch from Mota Lita. It is very comfortable and matches the rest of the interior to give a really pleasant interior view.

I have just refitted mine having changed the pressure relief valve. Wish I had taken a photo!

My engine is 7R53059 and there is a disc that is peaned onto the central sleeve. The seal on the end of the filter seats onto this.

There is a list of torque wrench settings in the Knowledge Base Technical Information Series 3 Service Manual General Information.
I guess they are the same as the prop shaft nuts?
