Charging
Just had a replacement Lucas Alternator fitted to my S1. The amp meter now shows a high charge - almost at the C on the amp meter -when cruising all the time . With my old alternator it showed a high charge initially which then reduced to a slight charge during the journey . Is there something wrong...

Washers on fuel pump banjo series 1
I've got to replace the aluminium washers on the banjo as they are leaking quite badly. Can only find fibre ones to replace them from the specialists. Is this ok or does anyone know where I can get them? Tried my local garages and car part specialists with no joy. Advice appreciated.
