Thanks David.

That's quite odd given that the problem didn't start until I removed that brass rod.

Anyway, a dumb question, but given I'm new to getting my hands dirty, I will find the horn, and look back to relay. What's the relay look like and then what problems should I look for?

Thanks

Horn intermittent

I wonder if anyone can assist. I needed to remove the steering wheel to polish it. To remove the steering wheel but, I needed to pull out the long brass rod that activates the horn. When I have replaced it, I sometimes just hear the click but no horn, but sometimes it works. I didn't think I had don...

Paint for a 1966 series 1 2+2

I wonder in anyone can help.

I have a red 1966 2+2 and assume this is carmen red.

I would like to buy a touch up brush for stone chips and possibly a spray can too.

Any ideas where I can buy it and what I need to ask for?

Thanks

I am wanting to remove the steering wheel to polish the aluminium. I took of the horn, but couldn't get into the large nut.

Can anyone advise what the nut size is and best way to get at it?

Thanks

Thanks all. I removed the centre via the three grub screws, but found I couldn't get the large nut off as I didn't have large socket, I assume 1 inch. I therefore tried to use the wet and dry but couldn't remove the putting despite starting with 600 grit. I think I might have to give in. Regards Dave

Many thanks. That's really helpful.

I also liked the look of the headlight mod, but I think that is beyond my very limited practical skills.

Headlight scoops

I wonder if anyone can help answer 3 questions I have re headlight scoops.

1. Are they easy to remove

2. Do you need to replace the seals

3. What colour should they be on a 1966 series 1 2+2 - mine look dull silver and I was going to respray chrome?

Thanks
