Hi Nick, I'm probably the least qualified person on this forum to give you advice but I'd like to try anyway! I found the follow books really helpful http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1906133360 ( details all the changes made to each model and any differences by market. ) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ja...

s2 light blue

hi, does anyone have a car with the s2 light blue body that I could come see in or around south london / kent. It's always hard to judge a colour from a picture but this colour in particular seems to be completely different in every photo i look at. e.g these 3 pics of the same car http://carzz.co/1...

According to Clausagher there were 1,645 S1 4.2 cars painted Opalescent Golden Sand. Of these 225 had a beige interior, 544 black, 487 light tan , 222 red and 167 tan. David, sorry if this is a stupid question but what is Clausagher? I'd like to look up interior's for s2 in light blue. Thanks Carl

hey rolando38, Obviously very difficult to make a straight comparison as every car is different. I think it will work out slightly cheaper but with no rust issues, note i wasn't intending to convert to manual. I guess the other point is availability. I'm waiting for the car to arrive before deciding...

Hi Geoff, thanks, I've had a good read through the forum over the last couple of months to see what kind of changes/upgrades people have made and I've seen a few posts about changing from Auto to Manual. I think it is something I will consider in future but initially I need to try and stick to some ...

My experience is that kids love the 2+2 :D I guess yours is an automatic? From where in the States is it coming? Ro-ro or container shipment? Yeah it's an auto, I'd have preferred a manual but was more concerned about having a sound body etc. I rented a s2 ots for a long weekend last year and was s...

I think the import time is 6 weeks, but the car needs respraying, re-trimming and few other bits so hopefully ready to use early next year

new member buying a s2 2+2

Hi, I'm a new member but have been reading through this forum for a while now. I've been looking for an e-type for around a year with little luck. In that time I found out I was to become a Dad and so changed my search to a 2+2. A few weeks ago I found a car that looked good and thought I should hav...
