I am tentatively assembling the boxes of bits which make up my S1 OTS. 1.The main hoop of the hood frame fouls with the top strip of the B post trim panel ( BAS item no 15 ), see photos. How should that be kept clear of the hood frame when in operation? 2. What is the purpose of the chrome ferrules ...

Repair of broken mounting brackets to S1 horns
Hi Andrew
Thanks for your reply.
I have four horns here all with broken strip brackets, so I assumed it was a common weakness.
I am going to Stoneleigh on the 20th so will have a good look at what is available.
Regards

Repair of broken mounting brackets to S1 horns

Availability of handbrake cable for S1
SNG advise that the early handbrake cable is no longer available. Does a later cable fit? Is there a replacement cable available?

Fitting headlights to S1 bonnet
I cannot find details or pictures of how the headlights are attached to the bonnet panel. My car was dismantled by a previous owner and some parts are missing.
Ideally an exploded diagram is required to identify the different parts and the order of assembly.

Fitting seals to S1 Heater Air Flap
My S1 OTS was previously dismantled and I do not have details of the positioning of the seals on the air flap. The parts diagram shows the kit of foam seals ( a rectangle surrounded by four narrow strips ), all in the same plane. When HOT is selected the air flap closes against the air release duct ...
