Re: Vredestein W Rated Sprint Classic - Tyres!

The trouble with the 185 Vreds is that they are H rated. I'm told my E will do 150!

Vredestein W Rated Sprint Classic - Tyres!

Hi all, Thought I'd share this. 205 70 15 W rated Vredesteins for 188 each from Camskill. Was going to order them. Any issues on a series 1 4.2? https://www.camskill.co.uk/m53b0s2481p144842/Vredestein_Tyres_Car_Vredestein_Sprint_Classic_-_205_70_R15_96W_TL_Fuel_Eff_%3A_XC_Wet_Grip%3A_XC_NoiseClass%3...

Fresh Cali import rust protection.

Hi all,

My car arrived yesterday Woo-hoo!!! It is solid and 95% rust free. I wont be driving in the rain or salted roads.

What should I do to rust proof her if anything?

A friend picked up his (2010) XJ-L. It has 57000 miles on it, but the thing that struck me was the leather, no noticeable wear and the quality was justlovely.

Anyone know what it is? Where it comes from?

The MX5 seats mean that originality is out of the window. The Germans use leather on doors alot and it looks nice.

Wish I had pockets that deep! My car will be a driver not a concours queen, so I'm not going the money no object pebble beach route. The car has been vinyl re trimmed in the past and so needs a little TLC I'm going to be doing most of this myself. I'm looking to buy: A carpet set A centre consol kit...

I'm going to be needing a re trim for my 65 car. How do you choose between:

Aldridge
BAS
John Skinner
Suffolk & Turley

etc........

I'm leaning towards BAS or Skinners, buti'm not sure why..

I got to look at it in more detail today. It looks factory done, amazing quality of work, so a great conversion. Its electric too.

Headroom is really tight, I'm only 5' 7" and its snug.

Steel sliding roof 3.8

Hi all,

I saw a 3.8 with a steel sliding roof. What are the chances of this being factory?

The install looks as if it was done in the factory.

Any impact on value?
