Rubber clutch pipe weeping through surface

https://s18.postimg.org/6jj2dt9x5/20171119_131327.jpg I have a Series 3 OTS converted from LHD to RHD earlier this year. I have noticed the rubber pipe from the clutch master cylinder is weeping through the surface with beads of fluid all over the pipe. Loops porous? The pipe has writing on it "sui...

Parking sensors

Hi Guys, thank you all for your advice about the conversion from LHD to right, all completed now. However, it may be the very long bonnet or the fact that am so used to sensors on the BMW that I have now bashed the car twice, not a huge amount but enough. Has anyone any experience of fitting sensors...

Indoor car cover

Hi, I am trying to find a soft indoor car cover with elastic round the bottom for my series 3 OTS. Just like I have for the MG. I bought an indoor / outdoor type which is too stiff.a pain to get on and thus useless for the quick on / off I need to protect it in my busy garage.

Any ideas? Thanks.

After much messing about I just took it out for a run, got it hot and up to presure and then looked with a torch to see where the leak was. Slap bang in the middle of the rad.

Took the rad out and had it recored, 380 quid plus VAT.

Rad back in. All ok, thanks for you help.

HI

Having recently bought a Series 3 OTS I agree that it is all about the looks and feeling good, nothing better that cruising through the lanes to the pub, a cool pint in the beer garden and watching people gaze at the car. 15 mpg, that would be nice.....currently getting 11.

Hi Rob.
I will ring you on Monday or Tuesday depending on work load.

Is it best to ring during the day or evening?

Thanks

Hi The plot thickens, I am new to e types. The ac condenser is in front of the rad and it looked like the leak came from this last night when I looked with a torch I thought the condenser was the rad. The liquid coming out was defiantly antifreeze and matches the header tank which is stil ovet half ...

Simon and Andrew,

Just had a quick look at it and i will be in the garage all day today getting the rad out, not as huge a job as I was worrying about.

Just spotted you are in Australia, my daughter has just moved from London to Melbourne, she says it it very nice!

Hi Steve
I will try this, but could I be that lucky? The fans don't blow, nothing happens at all. When my daily driver (bmw) needed gas it a least was blowing air but warm.

Don't know with the etype, would lack of gas means the fans would be cut out?

Thanks for getting back.

Air con not working

HI, me again. Series 3 OTS

Not had the car long and am trying to de-bug. The air con isn't working, I turn the right hand knob, nothing. No fans run, compressor doesn't seem to be kicking in.

Any ideas most welcome.

Thanks

Hi Me again.....Series 3 OTS. .I have a coolant loss, green stuff on the drive after a longish drive yesterday, but in front of the car. On closer looking coolant was spraying out of what looked like a pin hole in the core, holding my hand in front of the car it got a soaking. I am guessing i need t...

Right hand drive conversion

I have a 1973 series 3 OTS LHD and want to convert it to RHD. I am in Cheshire and am looking for someone to do it for me, ideally someone who has done it before and go all the T Shirts to avoid surprises. Does the engine need to come out to do this? Plus it has air con, is this a problem for he con...
