Series 2 fhc 69 possible colour change

Hi all ...... Well the jag is going in for a full bare metal paint job , the factory colour at the moment is British racing green , I'm thinking of a possible colour change to opalescent gunmetal grey , I know it wasn't an original factory colour that year or for a series 2 , any thoughts or suggest...

Thanks for all the advice , before purchasing a new otter switch I cleaned up all the terminals and ........ Hey presto workings treat .

Steve! Thanks once again ........obviously I've a lot to learn !! I think it's the connection from the otter switch that's the problem . I removed the connections and bridged them with a wire and the fans started up .
I'll clean them up and try again .

Dodgy fan

Hi Steve...... Thanks for your help , I've narrowed it down to either a bad connection on the thermostat or a sticking thermostat,

Hi Steve, the temperature gauge was probably 3/4 towards max ,
The fans showed no sign of starting and to be honest I didn't want to risk it getting any hotter. Previous to that on the couple of occasions I'd started it they came on with the gague half way
