Can anyone tell me if an RVI.4610/01 tachometer is compatible with RVI.4614/01.

Air Filter Cannister - Rust in circular groove
Hi all I gather this is a common problem but cant find any earlier posts. Has anyone come up with a solution to prevent water lying in the circular recess in the top of the Air Filter Cannister (C26295). The groove is there to allow the three over-centre catches to grab the lid tightly. However the ...

Hi Maurizio
Very interested in your spare bracket.
Have sent you an email.
Looks like you have some work ahead to get your car back on the road.

Re: Footwell heater vents
Hi Richard Are you still manufacturing these vents? If so, at what cost? If not, are you willing to share the 3D file to fellow Series 2 owners for their own use. I was going to start measuring mine up, but then I found your post. We have just purchase a spool of black PETG, so are ready to roll. Re...

Re: Gearbox oil filler? KE gearbox
Hi all. I know this thread is a few years old, but does anyone know the part number for this gearbox access hole bung? Mine has deteriorated badly. By the way my 1969 2+2 RHD has single hole/bung on the LHS with filling hole on the RHS. I am about to put MT-90 oil in the gearbox. Looking forward to ...

Re: S2 2+2 Washer Bottle Bracket
Hi Steve Yes that is the one that I bought as a replacement (11086 from SNGB as I recall), and is the same as the one that I removed. Need to drill two holes in the base to make it fit. The base is too narrow to use all four holes. It would be good to find the correct C.31237 bracket if possible, bu...

Re: S2 2+2 Washer Bottle Bracket
Thanks Steve Much appreciated. From your photo, it looks like the bracket is totally different to the one that is readily available (11086). Even the strap is different. Wide black one, instead of thin beige one. So the hunt begins for the correct bracket....... (it's not the first time I have found...

S2 2+2 Washer Bottle Bracket
Hi all. I have searched but I can't see that this topic has been listed before. I went to replace the rusty washer bottle bracket on my 1969 S2 2+2 RHD E type. The one I removed and the replacement that I recently purchased is part no 11086 which only has holes on the vertical section for mounting. ...

Re: 2+2 Door Stays - refitting
Finally got this job done, and yes it was quite easy. Only problem was that I had to use the old screws, as the ones supplied with the new door stays were the wrong thread.
But it's nice to have doors that don't keep closing on your legs as you get in and out.

Bottom Radiator Hoses - One instead of two?
Hi all, I have just replaced all my cooling system hoses, including the two lower radiator ones (C29642 and C29643) which are joined by a connecting pipe C29644. However, the old hose that I removed was a single piece hose that connected the radiator to the water pump, so I had to manufacture my own...

Re: 2+2 Door Stays - refitting
Hi Peter
Yes, I did some more research and found a photo of the strap attached to the hinge, not the door itself.
I will order the parts and then have a go at the job. All looks pretty straight forward.
Thanks to all

Re: 2+2 Door Stays - refitting
Thanks Graham. Sounds like something I can manage myself. So it sounds like there is no attachment point in behind the hinge; just the two screws in the door itself.

2+2 Door Stays - refitting
Can anyone tell me - Is it possible to refit the passenger door stays on a 1969 SII 2+2 without removing the doors? I am getting tired of the doors shutting on my legs - also makes it difficult to do any work with the doors open.... The stays are readily available (albeit with a nylon latch instead ...

123 Distributor and Tachometer
Hi everyone (my first post.....) I have purchased a standard 123 Distributor for my Series 2 2+2 (and new coil and leads), but have not fitted it yet. I have seen a few reports about incompatibilities between electronic ignition systems and the Series 2 style rev counter that runs off the coil wire....

Hi from Down Under
Thanks for accepting me and my 1969 2+2, which now joins my Regency Red 1965 3.8S in the garage here in sunny Queensland. From a quick review, I am sure that I will enjoy the ongoing list of topics and I hope I can contribute too.
