Is this the part you are looking for?

I know (believe?) SNG Barratt carries them too (I ordered from them back in summer) -- but I couldn't find them on their web-site.

Re: Does anyone recognise this E-Type?

If you have the VIN (ie - UC1S1001) you may find info on the car at http://www.xkedata.com/
XKEDATA does not sort their listing of E-Types by license plate number.
That database has nearly 1/3 of 1,871 RHD OTS V12s -- 606 of them. You might get lucky

Re: Fuel gauge not registering properly

I can't see how you'd extract the expansion tank with the fuel tank in place. Charcoal canister is on right side of engine compartment attached to the vertical panel of the US passenger footwell secured with a single through-bolt. It is painted hammertone silver -- I ~think~ the same color as the ai...

Re: Fuel gauge not registering properly

You said: "Expansion tank, didn't know about that, i'll investigate." I extracted mine a while back and took a progression of photos. These many help. It is located in very upper reaches of the left rear fender just forward of the filler tube. Captions may help. It was wedged in place very tightly. ...

Just went thru the dash again and yes, there are 15 - 987's and 9 - 281's - found an additional 281 hiding in the mass of wiring. Here are the locations: Super detailed response - very much appreciated. I think I am in the right space to do this conversion. https://i.postimg.cc/5yj8xmc9/20210724-15...

Re: Interior Lights

I am considering installing LEDs in my 72 OTS.
It would help me immensely if you'd list:
  • the 15 locations for the #987 replacement bulbs
  • the 6 locations for the #281 replacement bulbs
On the #281's, knowing the 6 "known" locations will/may help others identity the other 2 location.

TIA
