Re: Oil pressure drop

After installing both the mechanical oil gauge and sender, my oil pressure was normal! Starts cold at 55 psi and drops to 35 psi at idle hot. Since I have a brand new OEM sender, must be the smith gauge. I’ve taken it apart and can see the adjustments, any advice how to calibrate it?

Re: Oil pressure drop

Checked the oil, not overfilled and no foaming. The engine runs really well, no odd noises at all. Very smooth. Ordered the parts to fit both the mechanical gauge and the electrical sender at the same time. Will report back soon!

Re: Remagnetising Tacho generator

Sent my tach generator to http://www.nisonger.com for rebuilding, worked great. Measured the AC frequency after installation, compared it to tach reading, it was pretty accurate, within 50 rpm. But they take a few weeks to send it back

Re: Identify this part

Thank you all for your help. It must be a part for my BSA, I mixed with my e type parts! I purchase my e type last year with a ton of extra parts that I have been trying to sort through. You guys are awesome! The expertise just humbles me
