My plans are also to replace the frames, so engine out etc anyway
so it will be a full paint ( I intend to go the whole 9 yards which is why it's such a big decision for me)

I plan to keep it for at least a couple of years after completion and I bought it as a project but still undecided, the other colour I like is the metallic grey with red leather but unsure if they even done a series 2 2+2 in that combo

Hi all I have a series 2 2+2 So it turns out I have the wrong bonnet on my car, which I prefer (series 1.5 ) and I already knew the engine had been changed ( so not matching numbers car but still 4.2 with documentation of purchase and change ) it also was repainted in the wrong colour :doh: , please...

Believe it or not I have just dropped it off for dipping so it's not something I can do straight away and I would probably look for a 2nd hand one

) I have not fully confirmed the year but the rear lights are below the bumper, I was wondering/ hoping that there was a possibility that some had the earlier bonnet fitted by the factory to use up old stock
