Hi Frank,

I have just cured a similar problem on my 1968 S Type - the ignition coil was breaking down once the engine was very hot. New coil has completely solved my hot starting problems.

Well spotted Andy! That was us, on our way home,having taken part in the Bo Peep Hillclimb at Firle.
There were two other E types taking part (as well as loads of other interesting cars) ,both green.

Hi Geoff, I bought the car already modified and I am gradually making changes to suit my tastes and to make it a little more user friendly. It is great fun to drive and i have done a couple of hill climbs but I don't do racing as I can't afford to bend it!

Hi one and all, I'm new to the forum but have owned my 'E' for six years (modified 3.8 FHC).Could I kick off by asking if anyone knows where I can obtain the screws that secure the seat runners to the floor pan? Loads of places seem to do the runners but not the screws, even the normally reliable SN...
