Most of these things are obvious if you give it some thought first......if you strip a car down you should know how to rebuild it......if you buy it in bits then you need to do your homework....its all here somewhere on the forum..Steve

Hi Christopher..........hope iv got this correct, as i has trying to help Paul with moral support over the phone.....all 4 calipers could be bled ok......when you next pressed the pedal the brakes would lock and not release.......Paul disconnected the feed from master to slave/servo.....but brakes s...

Hi Paul....great that you got it sorted....and the servo is being returned to SNGB for them to investigate the problem....Dont Give Joey too much credit :bigrin: he would have had you source an old stock "master cylinder" and have it re sleaved.....and you would have still had the problem......your ...

Tom.....in a post above you said "its definatly comming from the studs".......is it still comming from there...with that amount of oil assuming you recently cleaned it all up you should easily be able to trace it upwards. ...Steve

Hi Paul...what do you mean..."it’s impossible to bleed in the conventional way as the pedal becomes solid, .....if you open a bleed nipple can you press the pedal easily down..then holding the pedal down you.close the nipple.......then release the pedal..........the wheel should be free to spin........

Hi Paul.....im confused here........have you bled each corner one at a time by pushing, releasing pedal and opening closing bleed nipple.......so system now full..........then if you press the brake pedal what happens...does it just lock the front......are rears ok.. .....does pedal release? ......S...

Hi Randall....your explenation is ok but not what the OP asked......he asked if it could be done just by removeing the large spring clips.....no....as they are bolted in place so the bolts need to come out......Steve

I wouldnt rely on the pointer to set crank TDC unless you know its set correct.....but beware turning crank if cams arnt set correctly....Steve
