Re: Clutch Release bearing - is the roll-pin OK ?
Thete are several different release bearings..ensure that you have the correct one....have a look at this photo and note the difference in the main body from pivot point....yes one is worn but you can see the difference....Steve https://i.postimg.cc/x1pGvZ27/Screenshot-20260309-081605-Gallery.jpg

Re: Clutch Release bearing - is the roll-pin OK ?
It's a lot of work if you get it wrong....last couple I did were NOS bearings....they do come up on ebay but make sure they are the old ones and not NOS from a couple of years ago....I wouldnt touch the ones with roll pin or the self tap screw....I would go the same route as Angus...iv heard a coupl...

Re: CMC Bridgenorth
I doubt very much its just a rent increase....time will tell when the accounts are released....CMC had changed over the later years moveing away from Jag to any other make and also into servicing, ceramic polishing, etc and more car sales.....cost of restoration is very much exceeding the value now....

Re: oil pressure issue....!
Hi Yves.....my first thought is the gasket between block and filter houseing....there are many different type... if you fit the wrong one it can block the flow......pull the houseing and gasket off.....turn over the engine without the spark plugs in and see if oil pumps out of the houseing.....it ma...

Re: LWE extended wishbone/technical help needed.
Hi Paul...I cant do the calculations...however you could trial and error by useing spacers inboard till you get what you want.....or get a longer xj6 driveshaft( cheap on ebay) to play with..cut it and use a slip tube to join it...you then have an adjustable length driveshaft to play with.....Steve

I would also check inside the hub carriers where its machined and the bearing race fits....you can get hairline cracks best seen if pour a bit of petrol on it as it will highlight any cracks....Steve
