Hi...welcom to the forum...whats your name...please try to put it with your car model in the signature area....the electrical sender/guage are well known for just giveing an indication of pressure and are far from acurate....how did your mechanic check your oil pressure....just by looking at your gu...

Hi Chris...does the seal come pre cut in one place?....does it open up to fit over the crankshaft......is a sealer required where it fits into the seal retainer....anyone that you know of useing it in an xk engine....Thanks....Steve

Hi Simon....hubs on the150/mk2 are very different to an E type...the hub fits on a taper shaft with a key way and not a splined shaft.....Steve

Hi Andrew...similar problem with my xk150.....hubs wouldnt budge with my puller....and its a known problem....i ended up pulling the hub with the drive shaft out.....then put it in a press with lots of heat around the hub where the bearing race is fitted....it eventually let go....slide hammer on ce...

It is possible to have an old classic that has never been registered with the dvla.....so if built in 1961 it will be a 1961 vehicle.......if you then decide to register it and provide all details to the dvla they will give it an age related plate(1961)......so a car built in 61 will always be a 61 ...

Hi Paul...make sure you re read the info in the link i posted above about "relative & absolute" vacume figures....first read its difficult to understand.....but you will only get a decent vacume curve by re reading and understanding it...great that your up and running.....Steve

Hi Keith...a friend had a similar problem on an MG ......turned out to be a very weak dashpot/piston spring....you could try swaping around....Steve
