Hi I have a series 2 roadster and have just replaced a leaking Heater matrix. In the process of putting it all back together I cannot work out how to make the fresh air control flap be adjusted by the lever on the side of the box. I think this might have been broken for some time as I beleieve there...

Spoke too soon..... problem reoccurred and when holding screwdriver on top of distriubor cap was able to almost stop engine ....new distributor cap installed and seems to drive well. Had a fantastic retired guy balance carbs, chokes, and mixture and she goes like a dream, I wonder for how long :oops...

CAn anyone recommend a manufacturer for a complete SS exhaust system for series 2 roadster please

At least a year ago I posted a question about a series 2 , 4.2 roadster which in warmer weather started to fail , the engine stopped and took about 20 minutes to start, with this finally happening on the Le Mans ring road on entry to the historic meeting last year. I thought it would be of interest ...

Has anyone worked out the best glue to fit new door rubbers . I have tried various contact adhesives with little long term use, and with a soft top the rubbers need to be correctly fitted ..Help , Please

surely there is a conflict here as the change of needles infers to me that the mixture would be too weak with the better air flow. Is not air flow the main driver for fuel intake and as long as combustion is correct, production of power. The difference in heat I would have thought is not great, but ...

This might sound a little mad, but,,,,,I am stripping years of bad underseal which was sprayed liberally around the fronts suspension of my series 2 roadster, and then decided to remove the suspension , clean it and have it powder coated as well as fitting new nylon bushes. So...what colour is accep...

Thanks,I will look at the needle type and see what can be done on filters etc, problem is by the time I do this we will be in the autumn and the problem is gone!!!
