Re: Temporary or drive away insurance for classic car
Hi, I don't need any protection on the cars value, this risk I would take. I'm just worry having any kind of accident where potentially a person get hurt, if you have no insurance on such case that what I'm nervous about. Why dayinsure and others are exclude classic vehicles is totally unclear to me...

Re: Temporary or drive away insurance for classic car
Hi,
your are correct it's not that simlpe. Surprising how complicated this default case can be. It is registered with valid MoT and no straight foreward way to get is insured. Even as UK resident, how do you get temporary insurance on a classic car?
Regards
Michael

Re: Temporary or drive away insurance for classic car
Hi, It seems putting me on sellers contract would be the most easy one. Tourinsure I checked, thats nice , they cover all Europe but they exclude the UK when it is a UK registered car. Trailer or hire someone to ride it down to Dover is killing my bill. It is not a valued Jag, it is just a Morris Mi...

Re: Ticking noise from OD pump?
Hi all, I did some testing today, first I removed the base valve of the pump. Ok, no noise on the short test loop around the house. Then I put a small copper washer between valve body and pump. I did so because I saw on another pump I had in my stock that the pump lift is limited first by the valve ...

Ticking noise from OD pump?
Hello all, over the last winter I placed a XJ6 OD manual box into my S1 2+2 automatic. The conversion went well straight forward, the only missing is the cover on the tunnel. Doing so I did a test ride without this cover. The gearbox and OD worked really well, but there is a ticking noise. I´m quite...
