Paint problem
Hi,
I have some issues with the paint job on my recently rebuilt e type.
The issues are invisible completely in some light, but look awful at other times.
Please could anyone recommend an expert who might be kind enough to give me an opinion?
Thanks
Fenton

Thanks for the replies., mark especially. It is clear that the professional standard is the only way to go, and I appreciate your advice re the areas to save some money v the concours approach. My problem is I don't have the money to do a Big Bang. The car has been a rolling improvement project, and...

Body work restoration
Hi, I have a series 1 fhc. Mechanically it is very good, and I have had lots of work done over the 15 years I have owned the car. The body work has never been restored, and it is beginning to look fairly ropy. I do not want a concours car, I would like a lovely looking, serviceable classic that is a...
Doors
Hi, My series 1 fhc is mechanically v good, but cosmetically a little tired. I can't afford a full on resto. It's doors are its worst feature, bubbling on the outside, and leaving a trail of rust crumbs from inside whenever the doors are shut. I presume new doors are the order of the day? All words ...

Le Mans classic (2014)
Hi,
I am hoping to attend the above.
Has anyone attended previous classics, and any words of advice re which agents to go through, campsites to aim for / avoid etc.
Any experiences of 'the happy few'?
Any experiences of paying to drive the track?
Thanks in advance for any help,
F

Hi, thanks for the kind replies. I believe that it was registered in April '65 if that helps. Re wheels, I ordered stainless steel wheels from Murray Scot Nelson. We had an outing last weekend....... I had promised my wife a night away in a spa hotel in the lakes, oh, we'll take the Jag I suggested ...
Hi
Hi, I am another new member :D I am sure that this forum will be a great help. Below is my baby, 1965 4.2. We have been together for ten years now. Bought when I couldn't afford it but wasn't old enough to know better (25), but she has survived the major dangers of marrage, house buying and a bairn ...
