Thanks for the offer Pete. A lovely thought but neither my pocket nor my capabilities could stand it. I'm having enough trouble understanding the mechanics of the E Type as it is! They seem to defy logic.

series 3 auto radiator

I'm about to embark on removing the radiator to have it re-cored. All seems relatively clear. I notice that there are two pipes at the bottom of the radiator which have to be removed. I understand these to be for oil cooling but I'm not sure if this is engine or gear box cooling (the latter I guess)...

Thanks for the help. I'm guessing that seals and diaphragms would do the job but not sure if I can just replace them without the need to retune afterwards. I know I can buy a service kit containing many parts which unless really necessary I wont use so is it possible to purchase diaphragms, piston s...

To many this is probably an obvious question. Having four of these on the series 3 and knowing they have to be checked regularly I do just that. The level always seems to need topping up. Only one speed on the blower is working and I would guess after looking at he circuit diagram that the resistor for the slow speed has blown?...... where is it as its not obviously visible.
