Bob just curious if you ended up doing this project. It would be great to read about it.

Re: Series 3 Clutch Master Cylinder
Thanks Tim - yes I did see your thread. I also saw that they list the same one but just wanted to see if there was any experience out there. I’ll probably give it a go and report back.

Re: Series 3 Clutch Master Cylinder
Thanks. I’m converting auto to manual as part of the restoration so I have nothing to compare it to unfortunately.

Series 3 Clutch Master Cylinder
Has anyone used the Wilwood master cylinder for the clutch in a Series 3? Part #260-6089 is what I have found others have used but it was on earlier cars. I assume the spacer C31725 and pushrod 12276 would need to be used as well. Appreciate any advice or experience. I posted this as well on JL but ...

Re: Exhaust system
I fitted the Classic Fabs system this year and it is amazing. Transformed the sound of the car in the best way possible. Exact fit. Can't recmmend it highly enough.

Re: Rear suspension heat shield
Any concern that this heat shield could trap moisture between the body and itself and cause a rust issue down the road? I’m restoring a S3 and have been wondering about this part myself.

Re: Rear Wheel Hub Seals ................ Nothing Against India But ......
I found the easiest way was to use a press to get them to go in evenly and without any grinding off the outside.

Re: Dash turn signal indicator bulb changing access
Hi Layne, I got a repro indicator signal switch for my '62 a couple of years ago and it doesn't just fit right in. I had to use a combination of different washers etc to get everything to line up. Mine also failed after just 18 months because the piece that moves to make contact when moving the leve...

Re: Remote rear brake bleeder install-SNG or Fosseway
Andy if you remove the forward-most rear shock on each side then you should be able to install the Fosseway kit. Easier with the IRS out obviously but I do not see why you should not be able to do it that way.

Re: Remote rear brake bleeder install-SNG or Fosseway
Hi here is a photo of the Fosseway kit I installed yesterday on the IRS for my 1971 Series 3 E Type. Same kit as for the Series 1 cars. I’ve kept the original Girling calipers on this one. https://i.postimg.cc/Cx565tdw/03-AD2-B45-FB27-4550-A22-C-E498-E1522-D8-B.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/nhWSDkQB/141-...

Re: Remote rear brake bleeder install-SNG or Fosseway
I’ve used the Fosseway kit on two cars and it is high quality and very easy to install. No experience with other kits but I have no reason to ever try another.

Re: Dynator Pulley
I also have a Wosp dynator fitted to my ‘62 3.8. Basically it did not charged from the start. My local alternator guy found that it did not work at all and re soldered all internal wiring and now works great. I initially had my old generator pulley fitted which did not charge at idle but was fine wh...
