There is ONE exception. The transverse stiffening rib at the rear edge of the main panel, This rib is spot welded and glued.

I have just completed a complete restoration on my 2+2. Having studied your pictures I am of the opionion that you have serious corrosion problems. I would suggest that you enlist the services of someone competant that can give you a proper appraisel of the damage.

The bonnet of my S2 is nearing completion on jig in the upside down position.
The next task is to turn it over for fitting to the car.
What is the best way to flip it over. I do have a hoist with a 10 ft lift.

I am inclined to go your route. I did watch the U-tube video, impressive. I cannot obtain any old discs, however since I have a milling machine and a lathe I can make up a pair.
Any reccomendations would be most welcome

I am attempting to replace the shock absorbers in my 2+2 series 2.
I have removed the 4 spring shock /absorber assemblies from the IRS, and now need to seperate the springs and shocks. Has anyone any advice on how best to achieve this.

The 1/4" holes seem to work well. It does take a little practice and patience to get the hang of it, but the results are excelent

My 69 has been fitted with Hardi J58 fuel pump
The car (and pump) have been off road for 15 years. I would like to service the pump, but can not find any documentation.
Has anyone documentation for this unit, or should it be replaced, if so what is the prefered choice of pump.
