Re: Stromberg Removal and cure overflow/leak
I’ve also done this job on my S3 many times & have a collection of modified 1/2 inch spanners like Bill. Recently I found an old bicycle spanner that works well for the bottom row of nuts. After years of working on a Mini Cooper the access to the e type is fabulous. https://i.postimg.cc/rFZFT7cN/IMG...

Thanks Andrew,
Yes I get it…Still raining, windy & cold in sunny Queensland. It’s a long time since we’ve had a proper winter. Luckily it only lasts two weeks..

Re: Boot floor series 3
The Hardura as shown in Colin's pic is supposed to be there - However early in my ownership I removed it as any water finding its way into the boot area drains out there and with the Hardura in place moisture accumulates under it and rusts the floor. Ain't that the truth...under the tank. https://i...

Series 3 Alternator bracket spacer tube C32734
Hello All, Could anyone give me lenght of the spacer tube C32734 (item 14) for the bottom mount of a series 3 e type alternator bracket please. This tube passes over a 7/16" x 3 1/4" bolt to fasten the alternator bracket to the block. Unfortunately they are NLA from the usuals, but I'm happy to turn...

Re: Tail (Side) Lights not working
Hello Bill, get yourself a copy of the wiring diagram from the Technical Help section & a multimeter. There are no relays in this circuit, just a fuse & the park light rocker switch. I have repaired / cleaned the rocker switches in my car to improve performance. They can be tricky to remove from the...

Re: Cars of the Netflix Crown
I don't want to hijack the thread. In response to Nick, one of my cars, the mini, was used in a government ad promoting E10. The advertising company put out a call to local car clubs for "talent". My mini was chosen. Half a day on set with a good payment for 4 seconds of screen time...Watch closely....
