Re: RIP John Barry

I never found more details about the car, but I did end up producing a James Bond album which you can all enjoy :)

PS: The only other white E Type I’ve seen was last year, when I met a wonderful owner Robert who had broken down in Essex.

Re: Jaguar now re manafacturing engine blocks

£14k for a new engine sounds cheap compared to say a 911 dry sump replacement block for 996 GT cars priced circa £40k! Would a top quality rebuild on a 3.8 be much less? Go easy on me I’m an E-type “noob”... Thanks :)

Keep it !enjoy it ! Use it !
Just a thought
Totally agree. This opportunity may never come again. Even if you want to sell it, drive it for a while and enjoy it first. Life is short - the most valuable asset in the world is time - it’s the only thing money cannot buy you more of :)

Re: RIP John Barry

Does anyone know where the late Mr. Barry’s E-Type is now? Perhaps he sold it when he left the UK for NY, but I cannot find any information about it. Would the car be listed on a register somewhere? Thanks.
