We have one here I've just measured and it's 1" 3/16 from mount plate to cross member and 4" 1/16 out ward to the sill lip. hope that makes sense.

No issues with failure or leaking on the ones we fit (SNG), but we do have to install a filter king adjustable reg to bring the pressure down.

It just so happens we have two S3's in the workshop. They both come through on the offside (R/H) of the bulkhead just below the wiper motor and bottle bracket.

They are being machined internally for the oil track.

He has the shaft and idler so can machine the correct tolerance.

Shaft is in very good order but nice to know you make new ones for our future projects.

Looks like I've found a local engineer who can machine some for me.

OK, I 'm stuck again. I thought I had it sorted with Denis Welch but the part that arrived is too small on the OD by 1/16" I need a supplier of the reverse idler bushes for an all synchro 4 speed from a 67 S1. These as it turns out are different to the non synchro box...who knew? Bronze bushing : 13...

Might have been a heated rear window switch. Only 2 holes as standard.

Series 1's have the pull open flap and I think 2's and 3's have the screw cable on the dash which opens a plastic vent.

Morning all. Sorry to hijack a thread, but would any of you guys know where I can purchase the reverse idler bushes? I'm currently rebuilding a 67 S1 4.2 all synchro. I've been hunting across the web but ideally would like some in the UK for speed of delivery. No luck with the normal suppliers. Than...
